Durante la malattia sui reni, l'incubo più grande che si è verificato durante il trattamento è stato lo spettro della dialisi. Ho aspettato molto tempo non ho subito scritto subito una e-mail :) przesympatyczny e molto specifiche regole inviati Mr. Przemek viaggio - tutto molto professionale :) non serve fare altro che acquistare i biglietti e volare! Questo è quello che abbiamo fatto con mio marito - abbiamo comprato i biglietti da Cracovia a Trapani! Siamo atterrati in una nuova realtà, bellissima Italia soleggiata. Abbiamo ricevuto un hotel sensazionale nel centro della città con il wifi, angolo cottura, camere di design eccezionali, un servizio cordiale e una posizione ottima (migliore pizzeria a Trapani, gelaterie e un chilometro dal mare). La paura era oltre la dialisi: se tutto andrà bene, se arriverà il trasporto. Certo, non c'era motivo di preoccuparsi perché già sabato mattina ad un orario concordato arrivava il trasporto e dopo 10 minuti di strada ero già in dialisi. Gli infermieri fretta conoscenza con le cartelle cliniche e ha iniziato il primo di dialisi - in un'atmosfera rilassata, il migliore tazza di caffè espresso :) sì, in Italia Dialisi Mucaria ottenuti delizioso caffè e panini è professionalmente :) :) e divertente e non c'è nulla da temere ! E dopo la dialisi łapaliśmy tutti i momenti più belli e le viste - abbiamo visitato la città medievale di Erice, che è la stessa Trapani ha attraversato l'intero centro storico che è molto clima e tipicamente italiana, ha avuto il miglior gelato e si innamorò con l'azzurro del mare di San Vito Lo Capo!

Devo dire che non ho mai avuto tali vacanze, soprattutto durante la dialisi. Fin dall'inizio, l'aiuto del signor Przemek, che non ha lasciato la mia domanda senza risposta per telefono. Tutto è stato organizzato in modo da non piangere all'aeroporto, portare immediatamente l'autista nel luogo e, naturalmente, supervisionare la dialisi. Il tempo e i paesaggi che si possono vedere lì sono solo una fiaba. Un clima così favorevole che mi sono sentito come una donna completamente sana a Trapani. Consiglio vivamente di fare un viaggio a Dialisi Mucaria, sicuramente nessuno se ne pentirà! Per tutto il tempo ho un bel colore marino davanti ai miei occhi.

Quando abbiamo sentito parlare per la dialisi in Sicilia, non credevamo che potesse essere vero. Si è scoperto che tutte le informazioni funzionavano e abbiamo trascorso un mese meraviglioso su una bellissima isola circondata dal sole, una natura meravigliosa sotto la cura benevola e professionale del team Clinica Mucaria. Siamo anche molto grati che sia stata solo la partenza a farci capire che è possibile allontanarsi e trascorrere le vacanze lontano dal centro di dialisi di casa. E 'stato bello e stiamo già pensando di tornare di nuovo.

Il mio viaggio è venuto a buon fine per gentile concessione di Dializ Dr. Filippo Mucaria di Valderice e www.dializywakacyjne.pl. Non ho parole per ringraziare per la gentilezza che ho incontrato in Sicilia. Questa cortesia si è manifestata in un servizio eccellente presso il centro di dialisi di Valderice dotata delle più moderne attrezzature e, cosa più importante, l'alto standard della dialisi e la cortesia del servizio. Grazie anche per la meravigliosa sistemazione in hotel a Valderice. Vorrei anche ringraziare la signora Anna, un’ impiegata di dialisi di lingua polacca che si è preso cura di noi. Grazie per gli splendidi viaggi che ti hanno permesso di conoscere i luoghi della Sicilia. Semplicemente non ho parole per esprimere la mia gioia e soddisfazione per il mio soggiorno a Valderice. Dirò una cosa, a causa delle due settimane autunnali di ottobre ho dimenticato il tempo piovoso in Polonia e ho creduto che si possa vivere normalmente con insufficienza renale. Grazie mille a mia moglie Anna. Ci torneremo sicuramente in primavera, è deciso. Questo viaggio mi ha permesso di credere che la vita non termina al centro di dialisi di Lębork.

Ad ottobre, sono andata con mia figlia, che era il mio tutore, a Trapani e posso dire che andare in Sicilia è il viaggio della mia vita. Viviamo ricordi fino ad oggi. L'Italia è un grande paese, grande gente, grande atmosfera e ottima cucina. Viaggiavamo con alcune paure che non erano necessarie. Mi sentivo al sicuro durante la dialisi, sono stati effettuati molto professionalmente. Eri la mia infermiera con molti anni di esperienza. Durante tutto il soggiorno è stato un tempo perfetto per l'uso di bagni di mare e per visitare la città di Trapani e la zona circostante. Eravamo in gita alle isole Egadi, a Erice, Agrigento, Marsala, San Vito lo Capo, Palermo e nelle saline di Trapani. Grazie Asia e Pan Przemek, che abbiamo avuto l'opportunità di incontrare, per aiutare nell'organizzazione del viaggio. Consigliamo tutte le vacanze dializzate in Sicilia.

Dupa vacantele petrecute in tara, la 20 ani de la inceperea dializei, am avut curajul sa plec in vacanta in strainatate. Centrul nostru de dializa a primit o oferta foarte avantajoasa de vacanta in Sicilia, Italia, la Centrul de dializa Mucaria din Trapani, Valderice. Trapani este o statiune marina, unde ,,se intalnesc doua mari”, Marea Mediterana si Marea Tireniana. Se afla in partea de vest a Siciliei. Am luat legatura cu centrul de dializa din Italia, prin email. Mi-a raspuns in limba romana, doamna Nicoleta Geanta, angajata centrului, pentru a ne ajuta pe noi, cei din Romania, sa ne fie mai usor in Italia. Dansa m-a informat cum se poate ajunge in Trapani. Astfel, la inceputul lunii octombrie, impreuna cu trei colegi din Centrul nostru de dializa, am luat, din Bucuresti, avionul low cost al companiei Rynair pentru a zbura la Palermo, orasul cel mai apropiat de Trapani. Pentru mine a fost primul zbor intr-o alta tara si m-am bucurat ca, in doua ore, am ajuns in Italia! La aeroport am fost asteptati de un microbuz al centrului de dializa si, pe autostrada, am parcurs repede cei 90 km pana in Trapani. Inca din Palermo am vazut frumoasa culoare albastra a marii. Pe langa autostrada, am admirat culturile de vita de vie si de maslini, frumos aliniate pe randuri, parca erau trasate cu un liniar! Statiunea Trapani e inconjurata de mare, intr-o parte de plaja lunga, la Marea Tireniana, si in cealalta parte portul si santierul naval, la Marea Meditereana. Desi era luna octombrie, au fost temperaturi de vara; asa e in Sicilia si toamna se poate face plaja si baie in mare! M-a surprins placut partea veche a orasului, cu stradute inguste, pietruite, ca si in vechile filme italiene, multe biserici catolice. S-a nimerit ca, in apropierea hotelului, sa gasesc o biserica ortodoxa, romaneasca, infiintata intr-o biserica veche catolica cedata romanilor de municipalitatea orasului! Am vizitat si bisericile catolice, e celebra Basilica Maria Santissima Anunziata, unde se afla Madonna din Trapani, in apropiere am vizitat Muzeul Pepoli, ne-au impresionat mai ales vechile bijuterii. Am urcat cu telecabina, sus pe muntele Erice si am vizitat localitatea cu acelasi nume, un orasel medieval unde m-au impresionat ceramica locala si privelistea ce se vede de sus. O zi intreaga am fost cu feribotul intr-o excursie la doua insule, Favignana si Levanzo, insule din Sicilia, urmand ca anul viitor sa vizitez si alte insule. Pe insula Favignana am vizitat palatul familiei Florio, mie mi-a placut mai mult insula Levanzo, cu stradutele in panta, cu un peisaj de vis, mi-a mai ramas sa vizitez insula Marretimo. Centrul de dializa ne-a organizat o excursie la templele grecesti de la Agrigento, aflate pe lista patrimoniului cultural mondial UNESCO. Agrigento e un oras intemeiat de greci, a fost un important centru comercial al lumii antice. Pentru prima data am mancat fructe de cactus, le-am gasit pe marginea drumului intre temple! Chiar cu o zi inainte de a ne intoarce acasa am reusit sa ajungem la Torre di Ligny, unde e un muzeu. Acolo, practic se desparte Marea Meditereana de Marea Tireniana! Bineinteles ca ne-am plimbat prin Trapani, magazine frumoase, pizza si pastele foarte bune, am gustat sunca si branza italiana. Nu am uitat sa va spun de conditiile excelente de la centrul de dializa Mucaria din Valderice, un orasel situat deasupra orasului Trapani. In vacanta se aflau bolnavi dializati si din alte tari ale Europei. Personalul centrului a fost foarte amabil cu noi, dializa a fost ca acasa, transportul de la hotelul din Trapani la centrul de dializa s-a facut cu microbuzul centrului. La fiecare dializa, doamna Nicoleta ne-a asteptat sa ne dea sugestii, ce mai putem vizita, a fost tot timpul dispusa a ne raspunde la intrebarile noastre. La sfarsitul sejurului nostru, stafful centrului de dializa ne-a organizat o frumoasa petrecere! Le multumim pt aceasta vacanta minunata si noi, cei patru, din Tg Mures, ne vom reintoarce si in anul urmator in Sicilia, mai ales ca facilitatile privind cazarea si transportul cu avionul raman valabile si anul urmator! Am inca multe dorinte de a vizita, in Sicilia! Va propun ca, in anul viitor, voi, colegii mei de dializa, sa luati in calcul efectuarea vacantei in Sicilia, merita! Pe plaja am intalnit colegi de dializa din alte tari,cu catetere. N-am crezut ca eu, obisnuita cu vacantele din tara, sa raman impresionata de Trapani, e bine in viata sa vezi si altceva!

A short story about our trip in Sicily the last two weeks in October 2017. It was started when I saw an advertisment from Mucaria dialysis clinic in Sicily, in the magazine Njurfunk. I get curious about what it was. So I took contact with Mucaria clinic, and they told me about how it works. Me and my wife decided that we want to go there, we booked flights with Norwegian Luleå-Palermo both ways. I got documents from Italy that my clinic at home filled out and send it back to Mucaria via fax. Mucaria clinic had arrange that a taxi meet us at Palermo airport, it was about one hour by car to the hotel in Trapani. The hotel was very nice, a little bit outside the historical part of Trapani. There was a small pentry at the room, so it was possible to cook in the room if we want. At Monday morning it was time for the first dialysis, they have told me that I will be picked up at ten minutes after seven in the morning, and exactly at that time i little bus come and picked me up. The dialysis clinic is in Valderice, a town about 20-25 minutes from Trapani. (very beautiful minutes) Wheń I arrive to the clinic I first got a bed, and then quickly connected to a Fresenius 5008. The people which work at the clinic were friendly and they know what they do. They were only speaking italian, but that was no problem, beacause there were 5-6 woman working there, and they were really good in english and many other languages. After the dialysis the car was driving me back to the hotel. I had 6 dialyses at the Mucaria clinic, each one 4 hours, that was lesser than home, where I have 5 hours. So I was a little bit worried about what the labtests would show when I come home, I was also eating things that my doctor told me not to eat. But the test was fine no problem at all. The Mucaria clinic also arrange diffrent activitetes, we where at a daytrip to Palermo, and one evening it was dinner together with the patients and the personal, there was also a day trip to Marsala which we don’t go. Trapani is a town at the west side of Sicily, like a hook in the medeterainan sea. The town is really old and in the center there are streets without cars, there are alleys and squares, many churches and a lot of restaurants and cafe’s. At The north side there are some smaller beaches, and in the outskirts there is some big ”playas” On the southside is the harbour, where there are a lot of sightseen boats, ferrys and big cruiser ships, also the fishing harbour with hundreds of fishing boats. Further south you can se the commersial harbour, with cargo ships coming and going. One reason that I wanted to go to Sicily was the food, I have heard and seen on TV that they have very good food. And that was true, there was so much food, and it was not so exspensive to eat at the restaurants, and at the shop we find that most things was much cheaper than home in Sweden. Both me and my wife think that this was one of the best holidays we ever had, and we really want to go back there as soon as possible. But this is not a group travel with ”all inclusive” You have to order the flights by yourself, and also the food, eat at restaurants or buy food at the store, that’s you have to take care of. About the dialysis, there is nothing to worry about that, you are in good hands, and the clinic arrange all around that.

My name I Michael Newton and although I have known for many years that ultimately I would need Dialysis, it came as a shock when I realised the implications of just how it would take over both myself and my families lives when I actually started Dialysis in May 2017. Apart from the Dialysis 3 times a week what really struck me was my apprehension to the thought of travelling abroad. I decided to learn as much as possible about just how I could maintain a good quality of life, not only for myself but also for my wife Moira who has supported me through thick and thin and decided to join the NKF. I have benefitted from the expert advice given by their Helpline and also some of the interesting articles in their newsletter, which showed me that it is possible to live well when on Dialysis. I noticed an advert in the NKF newsletter offering free holidays in Sicily with Dialysi Mucaria. This seemed to be too good to be true, so I emailed them and asked for further information. Within a few hours I received a phone call from the lovely and helpful Rosaria who told me that: They provide Free Dialysis in their various units to those who have an EHIC Card. They would provide a Free Taxi service to take me and bring me home from my Dialysis sessions. They would contribute 100 Euros to the cost of my flight. They would provide free accommodation for me in one of their well appointed self-catering apartments. They would only charge 15 Euros a day for my wife’s accommodation with me. They would arrange a driver to collect from and return us to the airport. They would arrange for a Hire car to be delivered to me. They also arrange outings to places of interest and Pizza Evenings (Great fun) and will advise on local attractions and places of interest. I was still cynical so asked her to give me the contact details of others who had been to Sicily with them who I duly called. I received glowing reports so we decided to go to Sicily. We went for 2 weeks in October this year and I was astounded by the efficiency and care given at both the Dialysis Unit and the support, advice and assistance given to Moira and myself. Trapani and the area around has a rich and varied history, located in a beautiful seaside setting with a large choice of restaurants and shops. There are so many places of beauty and interest within a relatively short distance of Trapani and I cannot speak highly enough of the professionalism, genuine care and service that we experienced. I would highly recommend this experience to others, and Moira and I look forward to returning next year.

Good morning Rosaria, We got home safe and sound, if just a little tired. I would like to thank you again for a great time while we were over there. I have told them that there is no catch it is just as at is on the flyer, how wonderful your unit is and if anyone need reassuring to contact me. Destinatia: Trapani – orasel mediteranean aflat pe coasta de vest a Siciliei, – mi-a atras atentia si dorinta de a-l vizita inca de la aflarea ofertei de dializa de vacanta, oferta facuta de centrul de dializa Mucaria: https://www.dialisimucaria.it/ro/vacanta-de-dializa/ Odata ajunsi pe aeroportul din Palermo, am fost asteptati de un reprezentant al centrului, preluati si transportati la Trapani, in blocul unde a fost stabilita cazarea – gratuita pentru pacienti. Am gasit un apartament elegant, dotat cu dormitoare, baie si bucatarie, utilate cu bun gust. Dupa stabilirea formalitatilor privind transportul – gratuit – catre si de la centru pentru sedintele de dializa, am fost liberi la startul vacantei . Prima iesire a fost desigur la tarmul marii – superba mare mediteraneana – atat de limpede si de albastra! Saptamana de vacanta am petrecut-o alternand perioadele de plaja cu explorarea orasului; de la personalul centrului de dializa de vacanta am primit informatii despre locurile unde se poate lua masa, sugestii privind feluri de mancare locale, locuri de vizitat, indicatii de a ajunge la aceste locuri (persoana de contact –Nicoleta Geanta – ne-a fost mereu aproape). Timpul a fost relativ scurt pentru a atinge toate obiectivele; ce am reusit sa facem: - croaziera de o zi (interval orar 9-17), pe 2 insule din apropiere – Favignana si Levanzo – transport cu ghid, vizita de 3 ore pe insula Favignana – cea mai mare dintre insule; aici am incercat fructe de mare – doar incercat, nu le-am si mancat! . A urmat o plimbare cu vaporul pe langa tarmul insulei; oprire intr-un mic golf, pentru innot – pentru doritori, apoi pranz la bordul navei – cu specific local – bruschete, paste trapaneze + apa si vin alb, urmat de plecarea spre a 2-a insula; aici am stat mai putin, fiind o insula mica fara multe atractii, preferind sa petrecem timpul la o partida de innot; plaja stancoasa ne-a cam creat probleme dar tot am intrat in mare: experienta placuta. - vizita la un orasel – Erice – situat la o altitudine de 750 de metri – citadela medievala superba inconjurata de ziduri, cu cladiri vechi, stradute pietruite, piatete ,comercianti cu diverse produse locale; se ajunge cu telegondola in aproximativ 15 minute. Avand in vedere ca am avut de efectuat 3 sedinte de dializa, de la ora 13:30 – in fiecare dintre cele 3 zile timpul ramas la dispozitie l-am petrecut cu plaja, mic dejun, pranz , plimbari. Centrul de dializa este dotat cu aparatura moderna, personalul pregatit, cu experienta. Ei au un pic diferit protocolul parametrilor de dializa dar, se poate ajusta in urma discutiilor. A fost un mic impas in comunicare, deoarece nu stiau decat putin limba engleza iar eu putina italiana, dar ne-am inteles si totul a decurs normal, fara incidente. Un eveniment inedit si placut a fost cel cand a fost organizata la restaurant o cina la care au fost invitati pacienti + personalul si conducerea centrului de dializa. A fost un moment de socializare, de apropiere si strangerea legaturilor dintre pacienti si personalul clinicii; atmosfera prieteneasca si respect reciproc. Am aflat ca astfel de evenimente se petrec des; e un obicei la care participa toti cu placere. Dealtfel, ceea ce am remarcat in toata perioada petrecuta acolo, a fost amabilitatea oamenilor, bunul lor simt – le simteai peste tot: la centrul de dializa, pe strada, in trafic, prin magazine. A fost placut si reconfortant, prioritatea a fost petrecerea timpului liber, detaliile sedintelor de dializa fiind o normalitate.

Il nostro soggiorno in Sicilia è stato indimenticabile, soprattutto perché quest'anno festeggiamo il 25 ° anniversario del nostro matrimonio. Abbiamo portato da lì il potere di impressioni, ricordi meravigliosi e un sacco di foto. Durante queste due settimane siamo riusciti a visitare molti posti come Trapani stessa, così come Erice, Favignana, Palermo, Monreale, Agrigento, la Scala dei Turchi, Segesta, San Vito Lo Capo, Marsala. Siamo anche molto lieti di ricordare la serata siciliana organizzata dal dott. Mucaria. Questo soggiorno in Sicilia è stato per me un'occasione preziosa da quando sono un’emodializzato. In particolare, che hai organizzato un hotel per noi, un trasferimento per la dialisi e gli stessi trattamenti di dialisi. Per la prima volta nella mia vita ho avuto l'opportunità di andare all'estero con visite di dialisi. Grazie mille e questo viaggio e soggiorno e il vostro aiuto rimarrà per sempre nella nostra memoria riconoscente.

Mi sono sentita come a casa, coccolata e meno ammalata. L’aspetto negativo è stato dover tornare a casa, nonostante la voglia di rivedere mia figlia.
